As a French agricultural school, our mission of international cooperation is entrusted by French law (Rural Code L811-1). Our school is involved in ecology: keeping the earth and its humans healthy both physically and psychologically.
Here are two examples of recent projects that focus on the environment, democracy, inclusion and diversity through art and history:
The large majority of our students are from rural regions that are often landlocked and deprived with a high school drop out rate. Some have learning difficulties, others are sometimes involved in bullying. Still they are motivated by their training.
Among these students aged 15-18, the target group will be those most affected by special needs, low income backgrounds, from isolated spots and potentially involved in bullying. They will have shown interest in previous school projects that echo this application's priority and will be willing to participate in this European project. Foreign language will become a lesser and lesser obstacle as they gain confidence and experience. As far as the accompanying adults are concerned, our utmost will be done to choose one female and one male. And to increase diversity, one of them will be a teacher and the other another member of staff.
