Prof Dr Nabi Avci Fen Lisesi is a science school with a high standard of academic success. All of the graduate students continue their education at significant universities. The school was founded in 1991 and is located in Istanbul, where two continents; Europe and Asia meet.
The school offers five years of education. Foreign language department works actively at school as students study 20 hours of English in a week. After this prep year, in later stages students take 4 hours of English classes and 2 hours of Dutch in a week.
Since our school applies education in the field of science, there are laboratories where students make experiments and learn in an active way. We also offer art and music classes in order to provide our students with opportunities to express their feelings.
We promote our students and staff to participate in national and international projects. At international level, we have participated in several eTwinning projects. We are currently a partner of a KA229 project which is about career planning.
Our students are aged between 14 and 18 years old. Since our school is a project-based school, students are accepted after taking a national exam held by The Ministry of Education. That is why students are highly motivated to be successful and eager to learn. They are glad to be in the supportive environment of our school which aims to reveal their potential.
We have plenty of students' clubs, where our students work voluntarily to raise awareness in various social issues.
