This Erasmus experience helped me see nature not just as something to use, but as something to connect with and respect. Spending time in natural settings allowed me to slow down, observe more carefully, and feel more present in the moment. I became aware of how deeply nature influences our emotions, values, and sense of responsibility. Sharing these experiences with people from different cultures also showed me how nature can unite us beyond language and background. As a result, I developed a stronger sense of care for the environment and a more mindful approach to my daily habits. This experience turned nature into a meaningful part of my personal growth, not just a practical resource.

As a member of the school debating team, taking part in this final mobility where we could focus on all of the previous topics in the format of a MUN debate was very important for me. Debating topics like migration and inclusion pushed me to argue with clarity, empathy and evidence. Hearing so many different perspectives helped me grow as a debater and as a person. This final mobility was challenging, inspiring and unforgettable.
The debates were a key learning experience for me, especially when discussing sustainability and environmental responsibility. I learned how to structure arguments, respond to opposing views and work collaboratively rather than competitively. Beyond the debates, the shared activities and trips helped us connect as a group. Ending the project is emotional, but the friendships will last.
This Erasmus+ trip taught me how important it is to listen before debating, especially during the MUN sessions on sustainability and immigration. Visiting Lecce and Bari helped me understand how culture, history and daily life shape people’s views. It was amazing to work as a team and build real friendships. Knowing this was the last mobility makes it even more special. We have already made plans to stay in touch and to meet up again. Erasmus+ is a great way to learn about European values and to bring us closer to people our age in other countries.
During the debates I learned how complex topics like the environment and inclusion really are, and how cooperation matters more than winning an argument. The trips around Lecce and Bari were unforgettable and helped us connect outside the classroom. I made friends I never expected to make. Saying goodbye is hard, but we all plan to meet again.
This experience helped me grow both academically and personally. The MUN debates challenged me to think critically and speak with confidence about global issues. Sharing activities, trips and everyday moments created strong bonds between us. It feels strange knowing it’s the last mobility, but the memories will stay. I definitely want to tell more people about the experience, get them involved, and take part in more Erasmus+ projects in the future.
